After Milan’s overwhelming victory over Juventus, things in Serie A are looking a bit different from over the past few seasons. Although Juventus is still leading the table, retaining the crown won’t be piece of cake for them this time round.

Things have taken a shaky twist in Italy with Inter Milan defeating Torino in the midweek, whereas Napoli and Roma are eager to keep things congested at the top. If not the title, Champions League spot is still in contention and the contenders are many. The San Siro sides have invested a lot in transforming their squads and with 10 Matchweeks to look back at, both sides along with Napoli, Lazio, and Roma, and to some extent Torino, are looking like serious challengers.
No matter who wins it, one thing is guaranteed for the fans and for those who love Italian style of Football, the blaze is back where it belongs. Having said that, Matchweek 11 in Serie A will surely retain the excitement it has offered so far.
Juventus will host Napoli this Saturday and it will be the first occasion Gonzalo Higuain will be up against his former team. If this doesn’t excite you enough, it’s also the 1st versus the 3rd and for sure it’s going to be ballistic and outrageous. The tie holds immense history and has always been a treat to watch. Although the vitality of this tie has always been high but in the current scenario, it is a very crucial tie for both sides. Juventus has already lost twice in this season and they cannot afford to lose any more points, especially at home. On the contrary, Napoli will be eager to score an away win against the leaders to maintain their shot at the top spot.

After a series of win, Milan suffered a hefty defeat at the hands of Genoa last week, and that has exposed the defensive gaps in the side hailing from San Siro. Nonetheless, the team is quite composed at the front with attacking powerhouses and can surely outnumber any team on any given day. But this is competitive football and we are talking about a side that has ruled Europe for decades. This week, they will be focusing on getting their loopholes fixed and turn back to their winning ways.

Roma has scored at 10 occasions in their 10 appearances, and Edin Dzeko has played a decisive role in this achievement. He has been the key figure for Roma this season and will need to keep his prolific form to take his side back to glory.
