A lot has been said recently about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future at Manchester United.
The big Swede is the club’s highest goalscorer this season with 24 goals in all competitions. Not to forget, the Red Devils acquired his services for free last summer. He joined the Theatre of Dreams on a 12-month contract with the option for a second season, but this prospect seems unlikely.
In a short span of time, Zlatan has emerged as a fan favorite, but we all are aware that he is at the end of his career and wants to play at the most prestigious club competition of all, UEFA Champions League, before he says goodbye to professional football.
"How different is Zlatan now he's 35?"

Manchester United are currently sitting at the sixth spot and have missed on securing the "top four" spots twice in last three seasons. The situation isn’t favorable at all this time around as well. Zlatan made it quite clear that he joined Manchester United since he thought they may qualify for the Champions League next season and he may get his chance to conclude his career playing at the top level. However, with just 13 matches left, Man Utd are still facing a hard time securing a top-four spot.
Things are not certain and can take a sweet turn. But if they fail to seal a top-four spot, they are likely to lose Zlatan’s services for the next season.

Manchester United will be playing in the EFL Cup Final this Sunday against Southampton, and Jose Mourinho may earn his first major trophy as Manchester United’s manager. But will that be enough to retain Zlatan? Only time will tell. But for now, Zlatan is highly reluctant to pen an extension.
Although Mino Raiola, Zlatan’s manager, hinted a possible stay he also predicted a possibility to switch to Napoli, who are favorites to qualify for the Champions League.
Should Zlatan sign a new contract with Manchester United?
