Build-Up

Two of the most prestigious clubs in the English Premier League, Tottenham and Arsenal, are prepared to take on each other in one of the fiercest rivalries in England. The North London Derby has always been a crucial tie in the league but it’s been more than two decades since Spurs have finished ahead of their counterparts, Arsenal, in the league. Well, this time round, Mauricio Pochettino’s side is a step away from unlocking this landmark. This will be the last time the two sides will compete in the North London Derby at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have been the most impressive team in the EPL this season, and there are thinnest of chances that they can close in to win the Title. Arsenal, on the contrary, have once again slipped from the track but this time round, a top four finish is also becoming hard to chase.  Spurs are sitting 2nd on the table while Arsenal are lurking behind at 6th. With 14 points separating the two sides, Pochettino’s men can assure that they will finish ahead of Arsenal this season with a win over Gunners today.

Arsene Wenger is five games without a win against Spurs for the first time in his career. Can he turn the tables around?
