Premier League is heading towards its conclusion, and with only nine Matchdays left, the competition is getting intense in the English top flight. Chelsea is leading the way, whereas Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are fighting for a top-four finish. Similarly, the fight for survival is also in full swing. Middlesbrough has already sacked their manager after a disastrous season, and Leicester followed the trend by sacking Claudio Ranieri – the man that made them champions.
Matchday 29 is scheduled for this weekend. Here are the top matches to look forward to this weekend in the English Premier League:
Man City have been undefeated in their last five Premier League games, whereas Liverpool are trying to survive a cold season. With just a point separating the two sides, the fixture holds key value for both the sides. Liverpool has won five of their last six Premier League matches against Man City. Pep Guardiola will aim to inflict defeat upon his compatriot, Jurgen Klopp, and keep the hopes of winning the title alive. Aguero is fit and will be available, but the presence of Silva, Sterling, and Sane in Man City’s cache equals destructive firepower enough to bring any team down.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their 9️⃣ matches against sides currently in the #PL top 6 this season

Tottenham have lost the least number of matches (3) in the Premier League this season. Pochettino has an impressive record against his former side, Southampton, losing just once. The absence of Harry Kane will be a concern for Spurs, but Hung Son Ming and Dele Alli have proven their worth and credibility. The Saints have scored eight goals in their last two Premier League games, and that too away from home.
West Ham are once again losing momentum and recently found themselves out of the equation. On the contrary, Leicester City have found their lost form and are on a three-match winning streak in all competitions. The Foxes sacked Ranieri and immediately after defeated Liverpool and Hull in the Premier League, followed by an impressive performance against Sevilla in the Champions League. The Hammers have won just once out of their last five Premier League matches.

Despite being on top, Chelsea are not winning any games comfortably. They haven’t been able to maintain a clean sheet in their last five Premier Legaue games. The draw against Burnley raised many eyebrows. Stoke have always been unpredictable as they were able to snatch a point from Pep Guardiola’s Man City last time around. The Potters have always been a dangerous side to play against at home. Stoke have defeated Chelsea only on two occasions and both those victories happened to be at Bet365 Stadium.
