Build-Up

It is one of those nights in Manchester that decides the color of Manchester. Last time when the two sides met in the EFL Cup at Old Trafford, Juan Mata’s goal helped Jose Mourinho’s side to go through, but Pep drew the first blood when the two sides first met in this season. It will be the first time in this season Etihad will play host in this all-important tie.

More than a decider and a Champions League place on the line, This Manchester Derby is expected to be the most exciting one in the recent years. Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho have a lot to prove, and it all begins here at Etihad.

Both sides are out of the FA Cup and also out of the title race, but there’s still a top four finish to grab. Pep Guardiola will end his debut season without any laurel, but Jose Mourinho can still win a trophy as his side is still in the Semis of the Europa League.

Manchester United will be without their two main guns, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is out after picking an ACL injury while Paul Pogba has also been sidelined due to a muscle injury. Man City will miss the ice in their vein, David Silva but besides, they are expected to field a strong side to hit Man Utd on set pieces and dominate possession in the box.

We will be bringing all the live action from Etihad from the Kick-Off. Stay tuned for further updates.
