After receiving tremendous praise and appreciation at Chelsea and leading the side to a formidable winning streak, is Conte seeking new challenge just after a year serving the Blues?
Reports from Italy suggest that Antonio Conte has agreed to a deal with Inter Milan for a reported €51 million fee. The Turin-based newspaper has revealed that the Italian has been offered a lucrative sum, for which he is ready to join forces with Inter Milan and will be leaving Chelsea this summer.
As per reports, the 47-year-old will be receiving €12.75 million per year and has been handed a four-year contract with complete authority. The Italian will be backed by the club in the summer transfer market with absolute power to sign the players he wants.
It’s quite sad to see Conte leaving so early. The former Italian National Side Manager joined the London-based club last summer and has transformed the club to Abramovic’s liking. Chelsea is 10 points clear at the top of the English Premier League table and is on the course to win the title convincingly.
The owner’s of Inter Milan are now in talks with Roman Abramovic to get Conte released from his contract. Conte agreed to a three-year-deal worth €15 million with Chelsea.
Is decision by Conte to leave Chelsea and join Inter Milan right?
