Last night, Leicester delivered the kind of performance that made them the Champions last season.
Even in the absence of Ranieri, Leicester were just phenomenal and earned their first win of 2017 in the Premier League.
Liverpool are now at a tumbling position with Klopp sending warning signs to the flops.
A brace from Jamie Vardy helped Leicester put a couple of bad days behind to thrive against a woeful Liverpool in the English Premier League. It was a much-needed win for the Foxes as they were on the brink of dropping down to the relegation zone – but thanks to Vardy’s heroics, the side managed to remain on the safe side.
This was the first assignment for the caretaker manager after the Foxes sacked Claudio Ranieri and only two days later, the team delivered an outstanding performance to announce their arrival.

The game started in a bizarre fashion with Leicester taking the control and testing Mignolet at quite a few occasions before Vardy broke the deadlock by netting a Marc Albrighton pass. 11 minutes later, Daniel Drinkwater doubled the lead for the host with a long range shot. Leicester were sitting confident at the interval and soon after the start of the second-half, Vardy headed his second and Leicester’s third goal to seal the deal for the Foxes.
Philippe Coutinho’s strike lighted some hope for the visitors, but it wasn’t enough. Leicester moved out of the bottom three confidently.
This was the first game for the Foxes without Ranieri, and the team delivered a genuine tribute to the man who made them champions. Jamie Vardy is back on track with a revitalized performance and Leicester continues to baffle the gurus, showcasing their simple, aggressive and direct strategy. Liverpool felt the absence of Jamie Henderson and their mental block continues to hinder them at the worst possible times.
The question on everybody’s mind is: Did Ranieri’s dismissal help unlock their true potential? Can they move in the right direction?
