It’s that time of the year again. FA Cup semi-finals are almost upon us, which will be played this weekend at Wembley. Three of the top four sides in the Premier League will take on each other in two action-packed semi-finals. For die-hard fans, this weekend is going to be a special one with four heavyweights of the Premier League going head-to-head for a spot in the final.
The league leaders, Chelsea, are eager to take on their city rivals – who also happen to be chasing them closely in the Premier League –Tottenham Hotspurs. Tottenham were the first side in the Premier League to defeat Chelsea and end the astonishing winning streak of Antonio Conte’s side.
Arsenal and Man City will take on each other for the second time this month as both sides battled earlier in the Premier League in a thrilling encounter, which surprisingly ended up in a draw. Both sides have had an indifferent season so far, and both are determined to win a trophy as Premier League crown looks out of sight.
With a Final spot within reach, every side is determined to end the season on high and win the most reputed and oldest crown in English Football.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side became the only team this season to deploy an all-out attack against Chelsea and exposed their weaknesses to aerial threats. With revenge in mind, Antonio Conte would love to see his side go on to destroy their counterparts to stop their momentum. Tottenham are on a roll with an impressive winning streak in the Premier League as they are closely chasing the Premier League title – only four points behind Chelsea. Manchester United have also provided them with a realistic shot at the title by exposing Chelsea’s weaknesses. The two sides will be hoping to place the right formation and come on top earlier in the game to clinch the tie.

The old bees will take on the newly rich in hopes to earn something from a highly disappointing season. This is the first time in two decades that a top-four spot is blurring for Arsenal, but they still have the FA Cup to play for. Similarly, Pep Guardiola will be aiming to win at least something in his debut season to satisfy the authorities at Etihad. Both sides have been brilliant in the Premier League this season but struggled to showcase strength in difficult times. The previous two meetings between the teams this season favor Pep Guardiola as he managed to defeat the Gunners at Etihad and earned a point from his visit to the Emirates. This is going to be an exciting encounter and Pep can put the final nail in Arsene Wenger’s coffin.
