The 26-year-old has been an integral part of Antonio Conte’s squad, and despite under-performing last season under Jose Mourinho, he has picked himself significantly under the new manager. It is quite clear that Real Madrid will go all out with the deal to acquire the Belgian playmaker, but they will have to convince the authorities at Stamford Bridge first.
The people close to Hazard have revealed that he is willing to play under Zidane and is seeking a new challenge – but there is no confirmation about it yet. Well, Chelsea too hasn’t released an official statement about Hazard’s future, which is only fueling the rumor mill.
One thing is; however, certain. This is going to be the toughest test Chelsea has faced in the recent years. Retaining Eden Hazard will be a tough call, especially after knowing Real Madrid’s strong intentions. The Spanish side has been chasing the Belgian for a few seasons now, and this time round they look confident to land their target.

Well, will the move prove beneficial for Chelsea and Hazard? Only time will reveal but for now, where will Hazard play, on right or the left, that’s still a point to consider. Making a mark in Real’s attacking line-up will be challenging for the current Chelsea playmaker as we have seen the likes of Isco, Rodriguez and many others suffer the at the hands of suffocation. Anyhow, do you think Chelsea will allow Eden Hazard to leave for Madrid this summer? Share your thoughts in the comments box below.
