The way Ligue 1 has shaped out this season has sent shockwaves of surprise all over Europe. This season of Ligue 1 is undoubtedly the best thing to happen to French Football after a long gap.
Ligue 1 Matchweek 11 will recommence from this Friday, with struggling Lille taking on the giants, PSG. The matchweek will culminate with a late encounter between Marseille and Bordeaux on Sunday. No one ever expected OGC Nice to remain unbeaten in 10 matches unbeaten, and the team’s run has made it clear that ambition and strategy with a well composed team is far more important than pouring money in football.

Last season, Leicester wrote a fairy tale in England, and this time it seems OGC Nice will have the honor. Nonetheless, the competitive atmosphere in Ligue 1 is surely a point to talk about. PSG have disposed some of their key players this season but still have a destructive squad. However, they never expected the other teams to come this far to challenge their hold on the crown.
OGC Nice is quite clear at the top, while PSG is lurking behind at the third spot with Monaco holding on to the second spot. Every Matchweek brings drastic turns to the table, making it difficult to paint a clear picture. Anyhow, Matchweek 11 is also expected to deliver the same excitement and intensity.
Two teams lurking at the bottom will be up against each other. Nancy will be looking to build upon the draw against Montpellier last week that ended their drought for points. Caen already has a four-point cushion over their counterparts and a win will be pivotal in the relegation battle. Both the sides will be aiming to end their miserable runs and a win will be nothing short than bonus for either of them.
With already four defeats in their basket, the 2011-12 season champions are not in a good shape. The hefty beating they received last week at the hands of Monaco has made their start to the season even worse. With the worse defensive record in the league, Montpelier will be hosting Lorient, a team placed at the bottom and a win will be nothing short than pleasant air for Montpelier.

Jean Michael SERI has been the back bone of OGC Nice so far and has been pivotal with his assists. Already the top ranked player in the league as far as assists are concerned, Seri will be the man to watch for OGC Nice during the upcoming Matchweeks.
