The frenzied international break is over and Ligue 1 is about to recommence in all its glory with the Matchday 13. Things are still the same at the top with OGC Nice holding on the lead, whereas Monaco and PSG are keeping the chase intact. Similar situation appears at the bottom where LOSC, Lorient and Nancy are finding it hard to break away.
The real uncertainty lies in the middle which appears to change every now and then, with teams fighting hard to claim the designated European spots. It has been the most exciting season in Ligue 1 in all these years and as it is heading towards interval, things are getting tougher. After a tiring international break, we expect the teams to keep the pace going in Ligue 1 Matchday 13.

Guingamp, sitting at the 4th spot, will welcome the 8th place Bordeaux with the intention to steal all the three points. Only two points separate the two sides which makes it a highly significant encounter to watch. Both of the sides have had an impressive start to the season and despite the bumps during the journey, the sides have managed to stay firm. The unpredictability of both the sides has favored them so far and is hard to write them off. So, this top of the table clash holds significant value and can change the shape of the table drastically.

With just one win in their last 4 Ligue 1 encounters, Dijon has been prolific throughout. The team failed to win most of the matches but has been a tough opponent to face. The six-goal thriller against Guingamp at home that ended in a draw shows their fighting spirit. It is quite obvious that Dijon is not a threat but still a force to be reckoned with. Sitting at the 11th place, Dijon does not fear many but the kind of form they are in, they can surely improve. All they need to do is start converting chances into goals.

The 23-year-old French striker is in prolific goal scoring form this season and has played a crucial role in OGC Nice’s campaign so far. The presence of Mario Balotelli says it all but Plea has justified his place in the side without a doubt. Being the top goal scorer of the club this season, Plea is a talent that big clubs across Europe will be eyeing.
