With Sevilla imposing defeat on Atletico Madrid last week, and Real Madrid holding on to the top spot once again, the congestion at the top has increased immensely. Barça is still in search of a smooth winning streak, but frankly speaking, that looks hard to come. Nonetheless, they are giving it all to stay in contention.
La Liga Matchweek 10 will see all rounds of fixtures being played starting from this Friday with Leganes taking on Real Sociedad. Both teams will be eager to win. Leganes will be hoping to improve their poor run of form, whereas Sociedad would like to reach one-step closer to a European spot.

Atletico Madrid will be aiming to bounce back with an additional urge of Real Madrid losing points. Barça is keen on improving their records with only 2 defeats in their buckets. All in all, it will be another week of excitement in La Liga as Matchweek 10 recommences proceedings.
Earlier in the century, this tie had its vitality as it used to be a title-decider but currently these two sides are languishing in the bottom half. Valencia had a terrible start to the season, however, they picked it late and earned a few crucial wins, only losing to Barça at home in a 7-goal thriller last week. Deportivo, on the other hand, is still facing the misery sitting at the 17th place and are desperate to avoid relegation battle. No matter who comes out victorious in this tie, one thing is for sure, embroiling into the relegation zone is not something either of them wants.

Sitting at the bottom of the table with just3 points and without a win, Granada needs to pick it now before it goes too late. In this time of misery, the team will be heading to Camp Nou to face Barça, a side already looking furious and hungry for wins. Pulling off an unlikely victory or at least a point would be more than enough for Granada. Can the side register the upset of the season? Only time will tell, but for now all we can see is another destructive outcome for the Andalusian Club.

Player to Look At
Koke has played an admirable role in Atletico Madrid’s success and has fitted himself well in Simeone’s strategy. The team captain has been influential so far this season and has made his presence felt. He is currently leading the tally for the highest number of passes. If Atletico has to stay in contention for La Liga, Koke will be the man to watch.
