Griezmann and Manchester United have come to an agreement!

FIFA-accredited agent, Vincent Rodriguez has revealed that Manchester United and Antonio Griezmann have agreed on a financial agreement and the player will join the Red Devils during the summer season. The current Atletico Madrid man had previously said that he won’t be leaving Madrid and is happy to work alongside Diego Simeone.

There’s no denying the fact that Griezmann has been Jose Mourinho’s top target and the Manchester outfit have been busy persuading him. The French superstar is wanted by many big clubs in Europe, including Manchester United’s noisy neighbors, Manchester City, PSG, and Real Madrid. But the player himself had dismissed the idea of leaving Atletico.

Rodriguez has a different say on this matter. He shared his say via Twitter that the player and Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a £84 million buyout clause.

Eric Olhats, Griezmann’s advisor also said that Manchester United were the only club with the most concrete interest and were also the first one to approach the player. He further added that any news claiming Griezmann not leaving Atletico for any amount of money is false.

Any advancement in Griezmann-Man Utd love story is taken quite seriously by the fans of Red Devils, and this news has hyped their excitement. Atletico Madrid are scheduled to play Real Madrid in the Champions League semi final next week with vengeance on their mind. Manchester United will also be seen in action against Manchester City this Thursday. Jose Mourinho’s side are focusing on the Europa League, since it’s their only realistic chance of playing Champions League football next season.

In a nutshell, Griezmann may join Manchester United this summer, especially when the spot of the striker at Old Trafford is vacant.
