Team News

Both teams are ready to take on each other with full-strength. Let’s have a look at the news from both ends.

Barcelona

Despite failing to win at Anoeta once again, Luis Enrique rested his key players in Copa Del Ray clash to land a rested side against Los Blancos. MSN looked out of ideas against Real Sociedad, but the triumvirate is expected to fire against their arch rivals. Messi is the leading goal scorer in the Champions League and is expected to lead his side to glory against the fierce visitors. A win will be vital for Barça if they want to have a go at La Liga crown as they are already trailing by six points. Messi, Suarez and Neymar Jr. are expected to lead from the front, while Pique and Mascherano will be at their best to take care of the attacking waves. The return of Iniesta, the team captain, will be a major boost for the side and will seemingly add more creativity in the midfield.

Real Madrid

Despite falling victim to injuries, Real Madrid has maintained their unbeaten run this season. The team has suffered the most from injuries, and the recent ankle injury of Bale is a major concern. The injury will keep the Welsh Dragon out of action for three months. Toni Kroos is already out of action due to a broken metatarsal. However, Ronaldo is fully fit to take on Messi and Co. along with the recently signed Alvaro Morata, who is firing from all ends. Casemiro will be back in the side, and he is expected to nullify Messi's presence once again as he did in the last one. The charismatic leader, Cristiano Ronaldo, is the leading goal scorer in La Liga, and the focus will be on his personal achievement as he will be aiming to bring down Barça to improve his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or.
