West Ham’s out-of-favor star, Dimitri Payet, has finally completed a €25 million move to Marseille. Last week, Payet refused to train and mentioned that he wants to leave. Initially, Hammers were reluctant to fulfill his demand but the capture of Snodgrass made the option viable for them. David Sullivan, the Co-Chairman of West Ham said that he likes to have his squad united and that he wanted to make an example of Payet.
He said: 'The club would like to place on record its sincere disappointment that Dimitri Payet did not show the same commitment and respect to West Ham United that the club and fans showed him, particularly when it rewarded him with a lucrative new five-and-half-year deal only last year.”
The deadline day drama always creates memories, not just for the clubs and fans but also for those who fail to make the most out of it. We are yet to witness any big money move in this transfer window, however, Marseille hired back Dmitri Payet and PSG once again displayed its money power. Will there be any last minute moves from big clubs? Will any rumor become a reality? All this and much more is scheduled for tomorrow as the deadline drama concludes.

Liverpool had a miserable start to 2017 with just one win, and after three consecutive home defeats, Manager Jurgen Klopp looks a bit wobbly. Liverpool are scheduled to play league leaders, Chelsea, on Tuesday. The series of defeats has destroyed the morale of the team and the absence of Sadio Mane has had a devastating effect on the team. Talking to media, Klopp said:
"This is still a very good squad and I am still quite a good manager, even though we have lost the last three games,"
"That doesn't change, but the mood around us has changed. I have absolutely nothing good to say about the last defeat, the only good thing about the game is that it is over. Now we have the chance to win the next game and we must keep faith."
Liverpool will host Chelsea in a crunching tie but with misery in the air, can Klopp’s men respond to Chelsea’s unbreakable strategy?
Edison Cavani almost gave PSG all three points with a late goal from the spot until Bernardo Silva netted a stoppage time winner to spoil the party. PSG’s miserable run against Monaco at home continues. Monaco have been unbeaten since 2007 and are now leading the points table but only on goal difference, whereas the titleholders have been forced back to the third spot. The match started with a bang and both sides targeted the post quite a few times, but Cavani scored a penalty with just 9 minutes to go. PSG were destined to win but Silva had another plan, as the Portuguese midfielder scored from outside the box to level the terms.
