Dimitri Payet completes Marseille move!

West Ham’s out-of-favor star, Dimitri Payet, has finally completed a €25 million move to Marseille. Last week, Payet refused to train and mentioned that he wants to leave. Initially, Hammers were reluctant to fulfill his demand but the capture of Snodgrass made the option viable for them. David Sullivan, the Co-Chairman of West Ham said that he likes to have his squad united and that he wanted to make an example of Payet.

He said: 'The club would like to place on record its sincere disappointment that Dimitri Payet did not show the same commitment and respect to West Ham United that the club and fans showed him, particularly when it rewarded him with a lucrative new five-and-half-year deal only last year.”

Chicharito: We are more united than ever!

The latest political turmoil between the US and Mexico seems to be a concerning factor for everyone, and even the Mexican football star, Chicharito, has sent supports to his fellow countrymen. The former Manchester United striker, who his just a goal away from becoming the leading goal scorer for his country, is currently representing Bayern Leverkusen in Bundesliga and after scoring a goal for his club, he posted the following message on his twitter account:

"Mexico in my heart. Proud to be Mexican today and always. Today we're more united than ever. Viva Mexico!"

Cristiano Ronaldo brags another routine win as Real Madrid defeats Real Sociedad 3-0!

Despite being booed and whistled, Cristiano Ronaldo did not retreat into his shell and instead guided Real Madrid to a comfortable win. Kovacic opened the scoring for Los Blancos outfit which was doubled by Cristiano Ronaldo with a lovely dink. Álvaro Morata summed up the night heading the third and the final goal of the match, as Real Madrid marched away with an easy win.

 

 

Moods have been change at Liverpool ahead of Chelsea clash: Klopp!

Liverpool had a miserable start to 2017 with just one win, and after three consecutive home defeats, Manager Jurgen Klopp looks a bit wobbly. Liverpool are scheduled to play league leaders, Chelsea, on Tuesday. The series of defeats has destroyed the morale of the team and the absence of Sadio Mane has had a devastating effect on the team. Talking to media, Klopp said:

 "This is still a very good squad and I am still quite a good manager, even though we have lost the last three games,"

"That doesn't change, but the mood around us has changed. I have absolutely nothing good to say about the last defeat, the only good thing about the game is that it is over. Now we have the chance to win the next game and we must keep faith."

Monaco takes the pole position after PSG draw!

Edison Cavani almost gave PSG all three points with a late goal from the spot until Bernardo Silva netted a stoppage time winner to spoil the party. PSG’s miserable run against Monaco at home continues. Monaco have been unbeaten since 2007 and are now leading the points table but only on goal difference, whereas the titleholders have been forced back to the third spot. The match started with a bang and both sides targeted the post quite a few times, but Cavani scored a penalty with just 9 minutes to go. PSG were destined to win but Silva had another plan, as the Portuguese midfielder scored from outside the box to level the terms.

 

 

Transfer Rumors

Real Madrid has offered Karim Benzema to Arsenal.  The 29-year-old seems out of favor for Real Madrid as President Perez has informed the Premier Legaue side to come up with a bid. PSG are also in hunt for the former Lyon striker.

Leicester City are chasing Gaston Ramirez and Kara Mdodji but Middlesbrough and Anderlecht both have rejected the bids respectively. However, the Foxes aren’t ready to give up the chase and are keen to add two new faces to their squad.

Arsenal have contacted Juventus Coach, Max Allegri, as they prepare to find a replacement for Arsene Wenger. The French hasn’t signed a contract extension at Emirates yet and the Italian seems to be the perfect replacement for the longest serving Gunners manager.

Newcastle’s €16 million bid for James McCarthy has been rejected by Everton. Rafa Benitez is keen to land the Irish man but Everton are reluctant to sell.

Jurgen Klopp is preparing a bid for Broussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to replace Daniel Sturridge. The Gabon international is valued at more than €70 million and is on the shortlist of Klopp that also includes Inaki Williams.

Tottenham are considering a late €25 million bid for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha. However, the Eagles are fighting the relegation battle, making them reluctant to sell.
