Alexander Isak arrives at Dortmund!

The 17-year-old Swedish striker has joined Bundesliga side, Broussia Dortmund, for a reported €9.5 million (according to ESPN). Well, the details of the contract haven’t been disclosed yet but it is expected to be a long-term signing. Isak is the youngest player ever to score a goal for Sweden and he was also being chased by the Spanish Giants, Real Madrid, but he decided to make a “smart choice” and join Broussia Dortmund.



Ryan Mason suffered a major blow against Chelsea

Former Tottenham Hotspurs player and Hull City’s midfielder, Ryan Mason, underwent a surgery after fracturing his head against Chelsea last night, which they lost 2-0. The head clash with Cahill had a devastating impact on Mason. After receiving immediate aid at the ground, Mason was sent to the hospital for proper treatment. He is now in a stable condition and will resume training after a few weeks.



Gabon out of AFCON!

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed an early chance for Gabon against Cameroon in a crucial tie that ended in a draw. This meant the exit of Gabon from African Cup of Nations as they failed to qualify for the knock-out round. The highly rated Broussia Dortmund striker couldn’t do much for his National Team.

He is expected to complete the loan move by Monday and the winger is expected to give his career a turn for the better. The 22-year-old struggled during his time at Merseyside but is hopeful to make the most from his time at Rossoneri.



Clement leads Swans to basics!

Paul Clemet took charge at Swansea City earlier this month and earned a much-needed win against Liverpool at Anfield. Chapecoense back on field!

Chapecoense played their first game after the air disaster that claimed the lives of 71, including 19 players. 22,000 fans attended the game to pay tribute to those who lost their lives. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
