January 31st 2017, the day the transfer window enfolds and sums up the chance for premier league clubs to revamp their squads at least for this season, realizing the new needs and challenge. A meager administrative tweak, the deadline day drama has turned into a full-blown drama in the recent years and is now nothing less than significant in footballing calendar. Nothing has changed this year as well because the broadcasters are waiting for the time to pump up their transmissions. In the Summer Transfer Window, premier league clubs only have spent more than $2 billion dollars in the transfer market. This time things look bit steady but some big money moves are expected to occur later in the evening.

Done Deal: Pato Fly to China

Alexandre Pato has joined Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian. The player had a loan spell at Chelsea last season but he only managed to appear twice for the club scoring once. The terms of the deal are yet to be disclosed.

 

 

Hull has signed Andrea Ranocchia on loan from Inter Milan. The player has been with Inter since 2011 and also appeared for Italian National side 21 times.

Welcome Orsolini!

The very talented Ricardo Orsolini has joined Juventus from Ascoli for a reported €6 million. Bargain of the season? Well have to wait for it though!

Lucas Ocampos has arrived at Milan from Genoa. The Marseille player was on loan at Genoa. The fee and the term haven’t been revealed yet by the officials.

Crystal Palace are proving to be quite active today. The Eagles haves already spent €19.5 million to acquire the services of Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City and Patrick Van Aanholt from Sunderland. 

The 19-year old wing wizard Leon Bailey has finally completed his move to Bayern Leverkusen from KRC Genk. The Jamaican has penned a 5 year deal with the German club.

Brazilian defensive midfielder Walace has finally signed a contract with German Club Hamburg that will keep him there until June 2021.

Chelsea are keen to land Mousa Dembele from Celtic but the Scottish side hasn’t shown any interest in letting go their man. Well, more to come on this deal.

Turkish Delight served right!

Adebayor finally signed for Turkish club Basakehir. The tall strike force from Togo was in search of club and finally found one for himself.

Sunderland are chasing Leonardo Ulloa but Moyes doesn’t have too many options should that deal fall through. The Argentinean has been a target for long now but the finances in Summer did not allowed the Black Cats to finalize the deal.

Dembele Alert!

Chelsea prospect Mousa Dembele has been spotted on a flight to London for a reported medical. Chelsea have the history of landing big money moves on this day. Remember Torres and the €50 million?

Also, from Mainz, Jose Rodriquez has returned to Spain on a loan move to Malaga until the end of the season. The player signed for the club in the summer but struggled a great deal and made only five appearances for the club.

 

West Ham had their chance but Besiktas had the final say. Welcome back Damba Ba as the striker completes a move to Besiktas for a brief spell after his horrific stint in China.

 

Steven Caulker has signed for Lokomotiv Moscow on loan from QPR. Shocking indeed! Apparently it’s true.

Chelsea are looking to pull of some exciting deadline day moves. They are already after Mousa Dembele and now the news broke that Chelsea’s director is in Italy to finalize a deal for Torino striker Andrea Belotti. Well, the striker won’t come cheap as Chelsea will have to break the bank to land the striker. He has a staggering €86 million release clause for which Chelsea will have to break the club record fee they paid for Torres.

 

Callum Elder, who recently returned back after spending his loan spell at Bentford has been sent back on loan to Barnsley by Leicester City.

 

  • Ake not for sale! Chelsea have cleared the air about Nathan Ake transfer and have confirmed that no offers from Bournemouth will be entertained for Holland Under-21
  • West Ham’s Co-Chairman has given the green signal for Reece Oxford’s loan move. The player is set to join Reading after the approval.
