Ciro Immobile

Ciro immobile, a product of Sorrento youth system, started his professional career with Juventus but wasn’t able to make a mark and was loaned to three different clubs. He later joined Genoa before moving to Torino. The 26-year-old signed for Borussia Dortmund for a reported €18 million but was sold to Sevilla after one season. He currently plays for Lazio in Serie A. The striker has also represented Italy in 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro Cup 2016. 

Tony Hibbert

The former English right-back, known for his down-to-earth demeanor, which earned him a lot of respect, is celebrating his 36th birthday today. Born in Liverpool, Hibbert played his entire career at Everton and his one-club-man status made him a cult figure among Everton fans. With more than 300 appearances for Everton in all competitions, Hibbert is considered a legend in Goodison Park. 

Artur Boruc

The Polish international goalkeeper started his career with a third division side in Poland but a series of good performances earned him recognition and he found himself playing for Celtic in the Scottish Premier Legaue in 2005. After spending five seasons in SPL, Boruc signed for Serie A side Fiorentina and played for two seasons there, after which Premier Legaue club Southampton signed him. He currently plays for Bournemouth. He has also represented Poland and has 64 appearances for the National side.

The Brazilian magician, the fourth highest goal scorer of all time for Brazil, member of the famous trio “MSN” and the recipient of multiple accolades at a very young age, is celebrating his 25th birthday today. He stepped into the spotlight at an early age of 18. During his time with Santos and after joining Barça, Neymar was simply formidable. Good with both feet, Neymar is known for his dribbling and finishing skills. Winner of La Liga, Champions League and Copa Del Ray with Barça, Neymar is also an Olympic Gold Medalist, something his country has always craved for. In just 75 appearances for his country, he has already scored 50 goals and is also the team captain.


Carlos Tevez

The highest paid footballer in the world, Carlos Tevez, is celebrating his 33rd birthday today. A product of Boca Juniors youth setup, Tevez has played for West Ham, Manchester United, and Manchester City in England, and has also played for Serie A giants, Juventus, as well. He had a brief spell at Boca Juniors before making his big money move to China.


Adnan Januzaj

Born and raised in Brussels, the Belgian wunderkind started his professional career with Anderlecht before joining Manchester United in 2011. He is a talented individual but was never utilized to his full potential by the Red Devils. After three frustrating seasons, he was loaned to Broussia Dortmund where he made his mark. He currently plays for Sunderland on loan from Manchester United.
